What we collect, and what we do not

Who is responsible

ASB Group Services Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 14114793, is the controller of personal data collected through this site. Write to shop@asbgroupservices.uk for anything on this page.

What we collect

• Messages you send us. When you use the contact form or the newsletter field, your own email app opens with the text prepared and you press send. We then receive your name, email address and whatever you wrote — nothing is transmitted before you send it.
• Order details. If you place an order, we receive the name, delivery address, email and the items ordered, plus the payment status. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never reach this site.
• Your cookie preference. Accepting or declining the notice stores one value in your browser (see the cookie policy). It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, time, page requested, browser type — to serve pages and to defend against abuse.

We do not run advertising pixels, behavioural analytics, session recording or social embeds on this site. The fonts are served from this domain, so no third party sees your visit.

Why, and on what basis

• To answer your enquiry or newsletter request — our legitimate interest in responding, and your consent where the message is a subscription.
• To take payment, deliver and handle returns — necessary to perform the contract with you.
• To keep the site available and secure — our legitimate interest in running it.
• To meet tax and accounting obligations — a legal obligation.

How long

• Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Newsletter requests: until you ask to be removed.
• Order and payment records: kept for the period accounting law requires.
• Server logs: a short rolling window set by the host, not analysed by us.

Who else sees it

Only what is necessary: the hosting provider that serves the site, the carrier that delivers a parcel, the payment provider that processes a card, and our email provider. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. Where a processor is outside the UK or EEA, transfers rely on the safeguards their contract puts in place.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent for the newsletter at any time. Write to shop@asbgroupservices.uk and we will answer within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority. We would rather you came to us first.
