Size table

Every style is made in EU 35 to 42. Measure your foot in the afternoon, standing, heel against a wall, from the back of the heel to the tip of the longest toe. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one — the pointed toes on the Ada, Odette and Mira run close.

The last and the width

Our heels are built on a standard D-width last — the shape the shoe is formed around before the upper is closed. Three things follow from that, and they matter more than the size number:

  • Pointed toes sit close. Ada, Mira and Odette taper sharply, so the toe box has little spare room. A wider forefoot should go up half a size rather than expect the leather to give.
  • Open styles run true. Ines, the mules, and the ankle-strap sandals hold the foot with a strap or a heel counter instead of a closed toe, so they fit closer to your measured size.
  • Heel height changes the fit, not the length. A 90mm heel pushes the foot forward into the toe. If you are buying your first 90mm pair, take the size that fits your longer foot.

50 / 70 / 90

Three heights, three jobs. We do not list a heel without saying what it is for.

  • 50mm — the kitten heel. Ada and Ines. Low enough for a full working day on hard floors, and the shape most people reach for when a heel is new to them.
  • 70mm — office to dinner. Mira, Noor and Sena. The height we would choose if a pair has to do both. Noor uses a block heel, which spreads the load and stands more steadily on pavement.
  • 90mm — evening. Lia, Vera and Odette. A stiletto, and honest about it: fine for a restaurant or a ceremony, not for a commute. Every product page states its own height.

The first week

Leather softens where your foot bends, and it takes a few short wears rather than one long one. Start with two hours at home, then a half day. Suede should be protected before the first outing; satin is for dry evenings and does not enjoy rain. If a pair rubs at the heel, a thin leather insole usually settles it faster than waiting for the shoe to change shape.

Care

  • Rest a pair for a day between wears — leather recovers its shape.
  • Keep the box and use shoe trees or the paper stuffing; a crushed heel counter does not come back.
  • Calf and patent: wipe with a soft damp cloth, then a neutral cream on calf only.
  • Suede: a soft brush when dry, never water. Protect before the first wear.
  • Satin: a dry cloth, no solvent. Store flat so the crystals on Vera 90 are not pressed against a box wall.
  • Keep everything away from radiators — heat dries the leather and cracks the sole edge.
